Children with a Disability

To find out more about services in the Wakefield area for children with a disability or additional needs, please visit: Wakefield Family Information Service Wakefield Council and NHS Wakefield CCG fund the charity KIDS to provide an information service and dedicated advice line for families with a disabled child.  The advice line offers a single point of contact which provides advice and information about services available in the Wakefield district for disabled children and young people, or those with additional needs, aged 0-19.
 
The service is particularly useful for those families who have recently been told that their child has, or may have a disability. 

You can call the advice line on 01924 379015, between 8:30am and 17:00pm Monday to Friday.
